Digital Product Concept & Public Health Innovation

LabelWise is a conceptual mobile app designed to empower consumers with clear, accessible insights into food products' nutritional quality and environmental impact. Developed in response to growing consumer demand for transparency, the app scans ingredient lists and barcodes to reveal health concerns (e.g., BHA, rBST) and sustainability indicators in real time. The project tackled public health challenges related to label literacy, misinformation, and opaque sourcing by proposing a tech-forward, user-centric solution. The final deliverable included an investor pitch and a comprehensive analysis of evidence, implementation barriers, and strategies for database development, industry resistance, and user engagement.
